PLAYERS: You can’t expect a scholarship w/o putting in extra work. Coaches won’t throw $$$ at kids who are just “interested” in being good.
PLAYERS: How much value do you bring to your team if you are not scoring the basketball? What can you do when the ball isn’t in your hands?
PLAYERS: Bring enthusiasm to EVERY workout, weight session, and practice. It is contagious, and proves your buy-in to the program’s vision.
PLAYERS: There is air in the ball! Dribble w/ a purpose, such as: 1) Attacking the rim 2) Increasing passing angles 3) Escaping trouble
PLAYERS: Growth is required for success. If you are the same level player today as you were a year ago then you wasted the last 12 months.
PLAYERS: Transfer over what you do in practice (shell D concepts, offensive structure) into live action. Be discipline, know your role.
