New Gyms, Same Goals

First half of camp season concludes and second half begins

The end of June concluded the first tour of 92 MEB camps for different high school programs in 14 states. MEB has worked with about 2,000 athletes this camp season so far and just started the second tour for the summer on July 1.

Camps in Arlington, NE; Britton-Hecla, SD; Sleepy Eye, MN; Killdeer, ND; Kemmerer, WY finished up the 9th of June. MEB will be in David City, NE; Austin, MN; Random Lake, WI; Bethany, MO; Anoka, MN from July 11-13 to help improve more athletes and more programs this summer.

Craig Doty (Co-Owner of MEB and Coach at Rock Valley College) and Brad Schmit (Co-Owner of MEB and Coach at Montana State University Billings) report on how excited they are about the impact MEB has made around the Midwest so far this summer.

“The summer of 2013 marks our 8th year of running Midwest Elite Basketball and we couldn’t ask for better results. Hundreds of athletes are progressing their skills each day at MEB camps around the 14 state region while saving on travel costs and learning alongside their own teammates in their own gym. 2013 is a defining year for what MEB is all about as we expanded into Indiana and Oklahoma and even conducted a camp with a program in Tennessee. The power of enthusiasm, knowledge and a desire to make an impact on student-athletes each and every day is the driving force to our success!” – Coach Craig Doty

“The MEB camp tour has been the best to date! TeamMEB coaches have been working with high school programs and their athletes from across the country impacting each individual kid and high school coach who has brought us in. The development I’ve seen personally in my camps has been amazing to see. Kids have been passionate about getting better, working with their teammates on their overall program and having fun throughout the entire camp.” – Coach Brad Schmit

MEB wants to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication. Without the athletes’ drive to improve and excitement to hit the court each morning, MEB would not be as successful in making an impact in the basketball world.
