Coach Butcher has been directing camps for MEB the past two summers. Picking up new drills from college coaches and interacting with fellow coaches from different leagues, are the main benefits Butcher has gained from working camps.

“One of the biggest examples of our culture is Sophomore Andrew Jones. Last year, Andrew was the leading scorer on a 20 win team. With some of the new additions this year, Andrew is 5th on our team in scoring and 5th in field goal attempts. Most times, this is difficult for a player in his situation and often times leads to problems. Andrew comes in every day and works. All he wants to do is win.”
“At this point in the year we are 12-1 overall. We have won games in a variety of ways this year. We pride ourselves every year on our half court man defense. We feel regardless of talent level or how we are playing offensively, our Defense allows us to have a chance to win. This year, we have a little more offensive firepower than we have probably had in years past. Currently we are shooting 40.2% from 3 as a team.”
