The Lady Savages have hosted an MEB camp the past the three summers. Coach Melgoza feels the individual skill development and team building is an essential part of their off-season development.

“Goals for the last part of the season: I would like to shore up our defense, we are allowing about 31-32 points a game and I would like to get that number back below 30. I would also like to be more consistent at the free throw line and play with a greater sense of urgency. We are doing those things well but it needs to get better to win a state championship and that is our ultimate goal.”
